I love the Nordic culture.I wonder why Norway, Denmark and Sweden don't unite in a single country named Nordic Union.
Is the pagan religion still alive in Norway?I love the Norse Gods.I also love the Siegrefried tale.Did you see Ring of the Nibelungs?

Oh dear god no!!! After the last union between our countries, that will never happen, trust me. It ended up with Norway being owned by Denmark for 300 years, called the 300-year night here. And after that we were under Sweden for 100 years. Nope. Never. I like the culture, yes, but I prefer that we are seperate units, all with our own peculiarities xD It's not like we're the same anyway :)

Well... not as much as on Iceland. I think most consider it dead, but I know there's at least two religious groups that practice Åsatro, if not more. I'm considering converting to it, but I prefer to wait until my granny is dead (that sounds cold I know, but she's a conservative christian, I don't think she could stand the shock if she found out, and there's enough drama in my family alread).

haha XD No, I haven't heard of that Ring of the Nibelungs :) What is that?

I meant a Scandinavian Federation(where the countries maintain autonomy) or a monetary Union considering that already exists a Nordic Counsil and all of you speak Scandinavian.

Plus,together you would be extremely powerful and you could get away from European Union whose values are anti-Nordic.
But, i understand that sometimes differences and bad experiences from the past can ruin a relationship.

Meanwhile, if you wish,you can talk with Åsatro representatives without converting right now just to understand better.

is a movie about The Nordic legend and its Heroe Sigurd/Siegfried.
I think you will love the story.

Hmmm, still no. We already cooperate well enough with no problems between us ;D and I like that we have our own currencies... Sorry, I don't have any warm feelings for unions XD especially seeing how the EU fares... Norway has never been part of the EU anyway, so :P I think a union or anything between us would be redundant.

X3 don't worry about me, I'm already following some of the norwegian Åsatro sites ^^ so it's not like I don't know what it is ;3 but thanks for the offer

xD Maybe I'll watch it one day. I never really made the connection with norse since Siegfried and Brünhilde is more germanic than norse ^^;

I understand,you are inside so you know better than me.

Siegfried and Sigur are the same character in the movie.
I hope you can see it,i believe you would love it.

I'm glad you are following some of the Norwegian Åsatro sites, if there is anything special about it let me know.


If in the future you can take more pictures from Norway (and yourself if you feel like it) it would be great.
